There was a legend someone dear told me
On earth, 9 angels will live
3 will be corrupt,
2 will be weak,
3 will fall,
1 shall die.
I never believed in myth, but now I know
How true they really are
How bright they shine

3 were stranded
They did what they had to survive
Forgetting their laws, they blended in
They learned how to lie.
Attacking the weak, destroying the strong
The most powerful bring the most corruption
Only to save themselves,
For they already had to fall.
Forgetting the meaning of unity,
The eagle flies above all.

2 were raped
Gone was their dignity and lost was their faith
Stolen, their souls only drifted
Away, the clouds continued to hide the light
Once gifted,
Their hearts continued to dim less bright
Forever lost in the dark of the night.

3 had surrendered
Their will overwhelmed
The battle far too gone to ever be found
Slowly becoming passive,
Quickly loosing balance,
The Wind much too cold, too strong to withstand
Helplessly they fell as shame took command.

1 was a child
So calm and so pure
Ignorant to the meaning of corruption,
Unknowledgeable to the problems in store.
She believed in color in all aspects of life
The cold wind mixing with the hot to create warmth in spite
So spunky, so free
She is all I want to be
Always wore white, and her beauty would never fade
The most beautiful in existence, an angel in disguise
Her favorite colors that of diamonds and jade.
Diamond for purity, jade for hope
Both creating peace if they ever learned to cope
Teaching others of the goodness in the dark
Never hiding from what she believes is right
She loved a devil and brought him to the light.
So loving, so caring, so true to herself
She was often unrecognized, but changed the lives of everyone she met.
Picking up the fallen,
Giving strength to the weak,
Offering truth to the corrupt…
No more would you have to seek,
To find someone so perfect in this world of sin
Is it possible to love too much?
It led to her death in the end.
Forever spreading her love,
She hugged her killer as they bonded in trinity above
The light and the dark bonded by sword
The dark caused the pain and the light shall embrace it once more.
Love is the result, but not all shall understand the false defeat
So the past will inevitably repeat

How do I believe in this?
Until recently, I found that one angel
She rests in you today
And I am the devil that is struggling to reach that light
For you have paved my way.
Day by day my love continues to grow
In hope of being with you, loved in a different way.
So pure, so true
You Are Perfect, An angel in disguise
Never to be fooled by false hopes and lies
Never to fall or give in to what you see with your own two eyes
You taught me to believe, and I trust you to do the same
For there is corruption in my life and I have found an angel like you.
The legends are true
But times will change
Believe in me to save you.
I will never let something so pure wither away
I swear to protect you even beyond my dying day
Even if it means to fall from heaven,
I will give my eternal life
For no life will be life if I must live without you
In this dark, you are my light~

Another poem based on some of my C.O.D.A.N. (collection of dreams and nightmares) fashioned together into one to make a bit more sense. This is my first poem where everything discussed is a metaphor or corresponds to something in general society.
